BMW Bag for Door Driver's Side - Used

BMW Bag for Head Driver's Side (ITS) - Used
Located in the roof, this is the curtain bag that protects the drivers head from hittinng the window. |

BMW Bag for Steering Wheel - Used
The steering wheel air bag is located in the center of the steering wheel. It does not include the steering wheel or the contact ring. For cars with thumb buttons, the buttons are not included.

BMW Brain (SRS) - Used
The air bag brain must be replaced any time the system is activated.
Air bag brains before 9/93 will be located under the dash. 9/93 up brains are located under the back seat. Brains will be all orange or will be silver and orange.
All air bag brains from 9/93 up have the impact sensors built in to them. Until 1997 when side impact air bags where introduced. Cars with Side impact air bags and Head air bags now have impact sensor once again. |

BMW Brain Seat Sensor - Used
The brain for the seat pressure sensor is located on the bottom of the passenger front seat. It senses whether or not someone is sitting in the passengers side seat. Passenger side air bags only deploy if someone is sitting in the seat.

BMW Contact Ring (Clock Spring) - Used
The contact ring is located underneath the steering wheel.
Any time the steering wheel air bag is deployed the contact ring is no longer good and must be replaced.
The impact sensors and/or air bag brain must be replaced any time an air bag is deployed. Any deployed air bags will need to be replaced.
Look up all additional parts under Air Bag-Assembly-Used and build the assembly from stock. |
