|   |
BMW Oil Cap - Used This is the cap on the valve cover that is removed to add oil to the engine. |
|   |
BMW Oil Deflector (Windage Tray) - Used Aluminum tray that bolts to bottom of block. Controls drainage of engine oil inside the oil pan and keeps oil from getting on the crankshaft. |
|   |
BMW Oil Pan - Used Generally the lowest part of the engine, the oil pan is where all the engine oil is stored before being pumped to the top of the engine. |
|   |
BMW Oil Pan Drain Plug - Used This is the bolt in the oil pan that is removed to drain the oil from the engine block. |
|   |
BMW Oil Pipe In Head - Used This is the pipe that runs the length of the cylinder head and sprays oil on the camshaft to keep it lubricated. |
|   |
BMW Oil Pressure Pipe - Used This is the metal pipe that connects to the engine block to the oil pump. It transfers oil from the pump up into the block. |
|   |
BMW Oil Pressure Relief Valve - Used This is the metal tube that hangs off the bottom of the block by the oil pump. It keeps the oil pressure from exceeding its maximum required pressure. Allows oil to bypass the engine incase of a blocked passage.
|
|   |
BMW Oil Pump - Used not available. |
|   |
BMW Oil Pump Bracket - Used This bracket is used by those models with a long oil pick up tube. Secures the tube in place to prevent movement. |
|   |
