BMW Brain (DME) - Used Controls engine electronics and injection.
|
|   |
BMW EML Brain - Used Located in the same relay bay as the injection brains. Relays accelerator pedal movement to the injection brain. Only found on cars without a throttle cable. |
|   |
BMW Fuel Distributor - Used This is the black metal block on top of the air flow meter that all the injection lines connect to. |
|   |
BMW Idle Control Brain - Used This is the little green box in the glove compartment that controls the idle speed of the car. Most cars after 1987 do NOT have a seperate idle brain, but have it built into the injection brain.
We recomend that you replace both the idle control valve and brain. |
|   |
BMW Idle Control Valve - Used Located on the engine, the idle valve controls the flow of air to the engine when the car is at idle. |
|   |
BMW Injector Assembly Rail With Injectors - Used This is the fuel rail and all the required injectors. The fuel pressure regulator is not included. |
|   |
BMW Injector Cold Start - Used The cold start injector supplies additional fuel on start up. |
|   |
BMW Injector Line - Used Hard plastic lines from the fuel distrinbutor to the injectors. Or in the case of a 200tii from the fuel pump to the injectors. |
|   |
BMW Injector Single - Used Located on the intake manifold or mounting directly into the cylinder head, the fuel injector sprays the fuel into the combustion chamber. Fuel injector vary by spray pattern and amount of fuel released. The fuel injection brain controls the amount of time the injector is open to release fuel. |
|   |
BMW Warm Up Regulator - Used For cars with a fuel distributor, this is the small rectangular piece on the side of the engine with 2 fuel lines running to it. It controls the gas flow at idle until the car has reach operating temperature.
|
|   |
BMW Wiring Harness - Used This is the wiring harness that connects the injection brain (DME) to the components in the injection system i.e. air flow meter, injectors, TPS, etc. |
